DDG Thanksgiving Charity Results

DDG Thanksgiving Charity Results

DDG’s philosophy is to give charitable to organizations and causes that are important to our owners and employees. Therefore, in lieu of gifts, DDG makes a donation to a charity based on the survey results we sent out during Thanksgiving. Below is the list of charities we are giving to this year.

A Heart for Emily (54%) – Emily Sanchez is a 19 year old heart patient at Ochsner and diagnosed in 2010 with Restrictive Cardiomyopathy. Her only cure for this disease is a heart transplant.

Libby Shiver Sarcoma Initiative (24%)  – Their mission is to improve the quality of life for people dealing with sarcomas, a rare tumor, around the word.

Kristopher Murphy Scholarship Fund at LA Tech (22%) – Kristopher Murphy is the son of Katherine Murphy at the Covington office. Her son was killed in an auto accident while at LA Tech in 2012. This fund provides scholarships to students majoring in Professional Aviation.

Below is positive feedback from our community and clients about our Thanksgiving Charity Initiative.
