DESCRIPTION:
A Recruiting Coordinator’s primary responsibility is to support the People & Development department, manage recruiting for high-demand open positions within DDG, and assist with employee retention for long-term DDG success.
ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coordinates recruitment strategies to meet the Company’s goals and objectives on a consistent firm-wide basis.
- Adhere to and execute all stages of the talent acquisition process.
- Sourcing candidates: Using databases, social media, and other platforms to find potential candidates.
- Screening candidates: Conduct interviews and assess candidates’ qualifications and fit for the role.
- Coordinating interviews: Scheduling and conducting interviews with hiring managers.
- Maintaining candidate databases: Keeping detailed records of past and potential candidates.
- Providing recruiting reports: Offering insights and preparing reports and presentations as needed.
- Networking: coordinates and attends career fairs, job fairs, and community network events, supporting and representing all office locations to potential candidates.
- Support the P&D team in organizing training sessions, workshops, and employee engagement activities.
REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:
- Must be proactive, organized, and able to build strong relationships with both candidates and hiring managers
- Strong time management skills
- Strong communication skills
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task in a highly fast-paced environment
- Must be able to meet deadlines in a comprehensive manner.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Management, Marketing, Mass Communication, or other related field.
- 1-2 years of relevant workforce experience, preferred
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
- Must be able to travel to various offices.
