Heather Klingman has been a member of the DDG team since December of 2001. She joined the firm as an Engineer Intern and began working with DDG’s large retail sector clients. As a key member of the DDG team, Heather currently manages both commercial and public sector projects from her hometown of Thibodaux, LA. She uses her broad range of experience to expand the reach of our actively growing public sector engineering program. As a native of South Louisiana, and a Cajun girl at heart, Heather is very proud to be a part of the work being done by our local governments to better our communities and our way of life.
She has been responsible for an abundance of projects, most of which include the design of sewer collection systems, potable water distribution systems, drainage systems, stormwater management systems, design of new roadways, roadway widenings, and infrastructure improvements/rehabilitations. Due to her public sector experience, Heather has become DDG’s state and federal funding expert; she has an extensive knowledge base of the requirements unique to state and federal grant funded projects.
Heather is an active member of the local and state chapters of the Louisiana Engineering Society (LES), and served on the 2012-2013 State Board of Directors as the Secretary/Treasurer, as well as a State Board Member and Officer President from 2015-2016.
