Matthew K. Newchurch, PE, MBA, LEED AP




As the firm’s President, Matthew is responsible for the day-to-day operating activities of the company and its employees. His primary function is to translate the firm’s core values, vision, and strategy as set forth by his partners into actionable plans tailored specifically to DDG’s diverse business units and their team members to be carried out by other firm leaders. A critical component of this responsibility includes serving as the continuous link between the firm’s design professionals and DDG’s teams of accounting, administration, information technology, business development, and human resources professionals. This requires implementation, oversight and enforcement of policies, procedures, protocols and controls that govern the operations of the firm.


Matthew closely monitors the firm’s project workload throughout the Gulf South. This allows him to not only help support DDG’s commitment to first-class client service, but it also allows him to keep a pulse on the latest in industry standards and practices in the AEC community.
