Michael Thomassie, PE is a Vice President at DDG and leads the firm’s Baton Rouge branch office. Michael led DDG to a new location in Baton Rouge in 2009 and has practiced civil engineering over 15 years with public and private projects across the Gulf Coast Region.
In the private sector, his experience includes commercial, industrial, residential subdivisions, and drainage projects. Michael has successful completed projects of all sizes and enjoys the challenges of more complex projects typically associated with large master planned developments. He directly oversees all site selection services, site due diligence, entitlements, project management, design, permitting, and construction support services for the Civil Engineering Team in Baton Rouge.
Michael works with local private developers and large corporations and serves as an advisor to our clients and ensures project completion and delivery. He values the relationships with repeat clients and the mutual respect earned by delivering successful projects together.
Michael’s commitment to the success of his clients is equally matched with his committed to the engineering profession. He has served as an officer for various engineering societies since 2010 and doesn’t plan to slow down any time soon.
