DDG was responsible for the site development plans for the approximate 140 acre retail and restaurant development. The project entailed the development of over one million square feet of retail and restaurant space with an emphasis on the ease of customer flow via pedestrian walkways and an open air mall layout. DDG assisted in the master planning of the development to ensure the parish requirements and tenant requirements were collectively addressed and in conformance with the overall design scheme. DDG assisted in the public hearings associated with the rezoning of the property, which included designing a stormwater drainage study that required a post-developed flow rate reduction of 25% below the pre-developed flow rate, and a water quality function that would entail the treatment of the first one inch of rainfall over the site. Finally, DDG was responsible for the completion of the construction documents, which included coordination of all permitting and assistance with multiple public bid packages.
