DDG was contracted by Lafourche Parish Government for full architectural design and site civil to design a 15,000 SF community and recreation center. The main gym space accommodates volleyball and basketball with seating for 300 people. In a cross court arrangement there is two volleyball courts with seating for 150 people and two practice basketball courts. A full service catering kitchen was also provided, and the structure has emergency power to run the entire facility. The center is able to handle local club meetings as well. This project was funded by the Louisiana Recovery Authority as a result of Hurricane Gustav.
