DDG was engaged by IMTT to evaluate project needs and provide permitting consultation services. DDG worked with IMTT to develop a permitting strategy enabling IMTT to permit a defensible project necessary to service multiple customers.
DDG evaluated previous permits and secured a No Permit Required determination from the USACE as well as a Letter of No Obligation from the Levee District to enable construction to move forward on a portion of IMTT’s facility. Later, DDG utilized wetlands data prepared by an external consultant and design data prepared by multiple external design firms to compile a cohesive permit set for a USACE permit application for Section 404, Section 408, and Section 10 permits as well as a Coastal Use Determination, Levee District Letter of No Objection and DEQ Water Quality Certificate.
