DDG is developing Phase 1 of The John Alario, Jr. Sports Complex in Westwego. This project will be a state and regional sports facility catering to recreational and youth sports travel teams and tournaments. It is anticipated to be an economic driver for the region. The project included significant offsite public drainage and infrastructure improvements. DDG provided preparation of design drawings, bid documents, cost estimates, and a Wetland Data Report. Our team will provide construction administration support services by performing SWPPP site observations, milestone site visits and construction task list observation. The total development will include 12 baseball diamonds, 24 soccer fields, a cross country/perimeter trail, 2 playgrounds, locker/restroom/concession facilities, play lots/sand volleyball areas, administrative office space, and parking spaces for over 1,50 vehicles. Baseball and soccer fields are being designed for artificial turf.
